According to predictions, Sofía Osío from Colombia is expected to be crowned Miss International 2023, while Camila Díaz Daneri from Peru is likely to become the first runner-up.
Other contestants who are expected to make the top five include representatives from Cote D’ivoire and Thailand.
Phuong Nhi, a 21-year-old beauty from the central province of Thanh Hoa, stands at 1.70 metres tall and has measurements of 80-57-88. She gained recognition by winning the second runner-up title at Miss World Vietnam 2022, earning her the opportunity to compete in the 2023 Miss International pageant.
The global Miss International pageant will be held in Tokyo, Japan, in October, with the final ceremony taking place on October 26. There are currently 52 confirmed contestants from around the world competing for the crown. The reigning Miss International is Jasmin Selberg from Germany.
Since its inception in 1960, Miss International has been one of the four major international beauty competitions, alongside Miss World, Miss Universe, and Miss Earth. This year marks the 61st edition of the pageant.
In previous competitions, Vietnamese representatives have achieved notable success, including Pham Hong Thuy Van, who finished as the third runner-up in 2015, and Tuong San, who placed in the Top 8 in the 2019 edition of the pageant.
