Celebrating 70 years of Independence: Hanoi’s Sky Illuminated with Spectacular Fireworks
Despite the rainy evening on Vietnam’s National Day, thousands of locals and tourists gathered at various locations across Hanoi to witness a stunning fireworks display, commemorating the 70th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The celebration, which took place on September 2, 2015, marked a significant milestone in the country’s history.
Fireworks illuminated the night sky at five iconic locations: Hoan Kiem Lake (also known as Sword Lake), Unification Park, My Dinh National Stadium, Nguyen Hoang Ton Park, and Van Quan Lake. Each location offered a unique perspective on the colorful and meticulously choreographed display.
The rain did not dampen the spirits of the enthusiastic crowd, who braved the weather to enjoy this memorable event. The fireworks show, lasting 15 minutes, painted the night sky with a dazzling array of colors and left spectators in awe.
