According to a report by the National Traffic Safety Committee, compared to 2020, traffic accidents decreased in all 3 criteria.
Concretely, the number of accidents went down by 23.3%, the death tally declined by 15.5%, and the number of injuries saw a reduction of over 28%.
Road accidents accounted for more than 98% of the total number of accidents, the committee said, noting that its data was collected from December 15, 2020 to December 14, 2021./.
