French city welcomes introduction of Vietnamese cultural space
The Vietnamese student association in the French city of Toulouse recently held a festival aimed at welcoming in the Lunar New Year whilst also promoting the nation’s culture to people from around the world.

The festival has a dedicated space in which Ao Dai, the Vietnamese traditional dress, and Non La, a type of conical hat, are displayed to international friends.
The art of calligraphic and traditional Vietnamese artworks in the same style are showcased for the occasion.
The souvenirs on show prove to be popular among the many visitors in attendance.
Members of the Overseas Vietnamese community are joined by foreign friends as they enjoy the festive atmosphere of a Vietnamese Tet during the event.
The festival also plays host to a music gala, including an Ao Dai fashion show.
