    Linh Ung Pagoda – A tranquil spiritual site in Da Nang

    The Linh Ung – Bai But Pagoda, located in Son Tra peninsula in Da Nang city, was inaugurated in July 2010 after six years of construction. A highlight of the pagoda complex is the 67-metre white Bodhisattva Guanyin statute standing atop a lotus-shaped platform. The pagoda has been a favoured spiritual destination for both domestic and foreign Buddhist followers and visitors for years.

    Quang Tri: From DMZ to East–West Economic Corridor

    The central province of Quang Tri was one of the most devastated localities during the war by thousands of tonnes of bombs and shells. Its Ben Hai River, located at the 17th parallel, used to be a part of a DMZ that separated the country during the American War in Vietnam. Now Quang Tri province is no longer a sign of separation of Vietnam but a link in the East-West Economic Corridor.

    World Environment Day 2021: Restoring ecosystems
