The event was attended by National Assembly (NA) Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, former NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung, and NA Vice Chairmen Nguyen Khac Dinh, Nguyen Duc Hai, and Tran Quang Phuong, as well as Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, among others.
In her opening remarks, Pham Thi Thanh Huyen, Editor-in-Chief of the Dai bieu nhan dan newspaper, highlighted the significance of the August Revolution in 1945 and the establishment of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now known as the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. She emphasized that it was a pivotal moment in the nation’s history, ushering in a new era of national independence and socialism.
The art programme showcased songs and musical works that celebrated the country, the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, and the great victories of the Vietnamese people. Its purpose was to evoke a sense of unity among the nation, foster patriotism, and instill confidence in the leadership of the Party and State in building a prosperous Vietnam.
