During the summer months, especially on weekends, hundreds of visitors flock to Pac Sui Waterfall to soak in the relaxing atmosphere. The nearby grilled chicken delicacy, known as Tien Yen grilled chicken, along with bamboo shoots and forest honey, further enhance the appeal of this tourist destination.

Inaugurated in 2017, the Tien Yen Walking Street invites visitors to embark on a cultural journey through the indigenous heritage of the northeastern area of Quang Ninh province. This pedestrian-friendly street offers a unique perspective on the local culture and traditions.

Tien Yen Town, established at the turn of the 20th century, boasts a unique blend of Chinese and French architectural styles. Approximately 40 ancient houses and structures stand as a testament to this cultural fusion. To preserve and celebrate this cultural heritage, the first walking street in Tien Yen opened its doors in August 2017, quickly becoming a beloved attraction and a showcase of the local ethnic minority culture.

Operating on weekends and holidays, the walking street comprises three main areas: a folk culture region, a merchandising space, and a mouthwatering array of traditional cuisine stalls along Ly Thuong Kiet Road and Hoa Binh Road. Visitors can partake in folk games such as stilt walking, bamboo dancing, skipping, and pot breaking, while also enjoying special art performances that bring the street to life.

Tien Yen Old Town

Tien Yen Old Town, with its ancient houses and historical sites, is a journey back in time. The peaceful streets and black brick and stone houses from the early 20th century leave a lasting impression on all who visit. While many houses have been upgraded over the years, they still retain their unique ancient architecture.

The old town presents a fascinating blend of Eastern and Western architectural influences, with French churches, villas, military posts, hospitals, and prisons coexisting alongside Chinese houses, temples, and pagodas.
