The streets of both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City have been decorated with an array of colourful national flags as a way of marking the country’s excitement as celebrations for the Liberation of the South and the National Reunification Day get underway on April 30.
With April 30 marking the 45th Reunification Day anniversary, up to 2,000 patriotic slogans have been placed around the centre of Hanoi in commemoration of the national holiday.
