The Vietnam Days Abroad is the annual national promotion campaign that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has hosted since 2010. This year, the campaign aims to celebrate the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Austria, India, and South Korea through many online and offline activities.
Khanh said that this year’s campaign is an opportunity to promote the image of a beautiful, dynamic, potential, cultural and friendly Vietnam.
The campaign is also a message that Vietnam is willing to strengthen its relationship and cooperation in all fields with its partners, he said.
In Austria, the campaign will take place on September 28-29 in the capital city of Vienna, with Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son hosting the event. He will officially open the Vietnam Cultural Space and host the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam-Austria diplomatic relations and the Vietnam-Austria Business Forum.
In Vietnam Days 2022 in Austria, the public can learn about the 50-year diplomatic tie between the two nations, promote economic and commercial relationships, and enjoy some Vietnamese traditional arts.
At the celebration ceremony, the Vietnam National Academy of Music orchestra, with their Austrian colleagues, will co-perform some iconic symphonies of the two nations.
In India, the campaign will be held from November 3 to November 4 in the capital city of New Delhi to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-India diplomatic relations.
Upcoming activities include art performances, the Vietnam-India Business Forum, the Vietnamese Cultural Space opening ceremony, and the introduction of Vietnamese vegetarian cuisine and tea culture.
In South Korea, the campaign will be held from late November to early December 2022 in the capital city of Seoul to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Vietnam-South Korea relations on the official visit of Vietnam’s top-ranking leaders to South Korea.
Many activities will involve a bilateral business forum, the Vietnam-South Korea filmography, and a cuisine exchange. The actions will show the public of South Korea through the developments of the bilateral relations as well as enjoy Vietnamese art performances and displays.
