The event was held by the Saigon International University (SIU) in coordination with Asian School.
The contest was open to all Vietnamese citizens and foreigners aged 9 years and above, who were divided into three age groups: Group A (9-13 years old), Group B (14-17 years old), and Group C (18 years and above).
The Asian School’s golden prize in Group A went to Nguyen Tran Quoc Thang, followed by Nguyen Phuc Bao Tien and Nguyen Truong Thi Thien, respectively.

In Group B, Nguyen Lan Anh won the Asian School’s golden prize, while Ho Le Dang Khoi and Duong Hong Phuc were the silver and bronze winners, respectively.

Minhye Heo and Le Quang Sinh bagged the silver and bronze medals in Group C. Meanwhile, Tran Yen Nhi was honoured with the SIU’s golden prize.
Winners of the golden prize in each group will walk away with up to 150 million VND per person. Notably, the finalists of Groups B and C will have the opportunity to perform with the symphony orchestra of the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music.
The contest will be held biennially to detect and nurture piano talents of various ages for Vietnamese music.
