Major Le Thi Van Mai of the Military University of Culture and Arts playing the Zither (Dan Tranh) and Lieutenant Tran Hoang Oanh of the border guard unit playing a two-stringed traditional musical instrument (Dan Nguyet) performed two pieces of work which praise the fatherland.

In addition, artist Hoang Oanh brought a flute performance to the competition.

Their performances in the “Army of Culture” contest that helped to promote Vietnamese culture to international friends received plenty of applause from the judge and audience members, .

The Army Games 2022 are running from August 13 to August 27 in Russia, Uzbekistan, Armenia, and Belarus attracting 270 teams from 37 countries and territories worldwide. 

The “Army of Culture” contest was held for the first time in 2021. This year’s Army Games saw Vietnam host the “Emergency Area” category.
