The Malaysia-Vietnam Friendship Association joined the event as a partner and set up 10 booths showcasing traditional Vietnamese cuisine. Visitors were treated to delicious dishes such as Pho (beef noodle soup), Banh Mi (bread), and spring rolls. In addition to the tasty treats, various Vietnamese food products were also on sale, including instant noodles, dried Pho, instant coffee, and an array of sauces.

Vietnamese Trade Counsellor, Le Phu Cuong, spoke to the Vietnam News Agency about the importance of participating in fairs to promote their country’s cuisine. He emphasized that the Trade Office and Embassy of Vietnam are committed to supporting initiatives that raise awareness and interest in Vietnamese products among Malaysian consumers.

The event also highlighted the importance of cultural interaction in promoting the country’s image, with President of the Malaysia-Vietnam Friendship Association, Tran Thi Chang, noting that the association’s memorandum of understanding with IFOOD, a leading food event organizer in Malaysia, will create favorable opportunities to participate in significant food events in the country.
