Tra Vinh: A Charming City with Century-Old Trees

The southern province of Tra Vinh is a hidden gem, boasting approximately 800 century-old trees that line its streets, creating a unique and enchanting urban forest.

According to a report by IQAir, a leading air quality technology company, Tra Vinh ranked third among the top 15 cities in Southeast Asia for the best air quality in early 2024. This, coupled with its abundant green spaces, makes Tra Vinh an ideal wellness retreat destination.

Duong Hoang Sum, director of the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, highlighted the city’s potential as a tourism hotspot, emphasizing its natural charms.

Tra Vinh is currently focusing on developing cultural tourism, community-based tourism, and ecotourism. With its unique offerings, the province is set to captivate visitors with its natural beauty and rich cultural heritage.
