    Da Nang – The Vietnam – Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU), a part of the University of Da Nang, has taken a significant step forward in cultivating skilled software professionals. On April 10, VKU entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (KOSME) to enhance software talent development and facilitate their integration into small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

    This collaboration harnesses the strengths of both parties, utilizing their robust infrastructure and networks to advance software expertise in Vietnam. Through a range of initiatives, including seminars, mentorship programs, job fairs, and employment networking activities, VKU and KOSME aim to bridge the gap between academic training and industry demands, ensuring that software technology experts are equipped with the skills needed to excel in the marketplace.

    Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Cong Phap, Rector of VKU, celebrated the agreement as a pivotal milestone in the strategic and sustainable partnership between the two institutions. VKU, with the support of both the Vietnamese and Korean governments, plays a crucial role in training a high-quality workforce for Vietnam, the Republic of Korea, and the global community. Building on a history of successful collaborations with Korean entities, this new partnership is expected to yield tangible and intangible benefits for VKU’s faculty, students, and society as a whole.
