To celebrate the 78th anniversary of the August Revolutionary and Vietnam’s National Day, the Cinematography Department is organizing movie screenings.
One of the featured documentaries is “Những Bước Đi Ngoại Giao Và Một Cuộc Chiến Không Mong Muốn” (The Diplomatic Steps and an Unexpected War) produced by Vietkings Media JSC.
The film focuses on President Hồ Chí Minh and is a continuation of the documentary “Hồ Chí Minh Năm 1946” (Hồ Chí Minh in 1946) which was released in February on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the “Outline of Vietnamese Culture”.
Another documentary being shown is “Giáo Sư Tạ Quang Bửu – Nhà Khoa Học Yêu Nước” (Prof Tạ Quang Bửu – A Patriotic Scientist) by the National Documentary and Scientific Film Studio. This film explores the life and career of scientist Tạ Quang Bửu, who played a significant role in Vietnam’s military science and technology.
Additionally, the screening will include “Những Người Giữ Hồn Đất” (The People Who Keep the Soul of Soil) by Giải Phóng Film Studio, and “Giấc Mơ Làm Mẹ” (The Motherhood Dream) by the Vietnam Animation Studio (VAS), a heart-touching story about motherhood.
For young film enthusiasts, “Vượt Qua Đường Nước Đen” (Crossing the Black Water Lane) by the Giải Phóng Film Studio is also being screened.
The movie screenings will be held at cinemas and cultural centers nationwide until September 5.
