A press conference was held in Phan Thiet city on July 25 to announce the pageant as part of the activities celebrating National Tourism Year 2023 in Binh Thuan province.

The winner of the contest will be responsible for two years of cultural tourism promotion activities and promoting Vietnamese images on all five continents.

The preliminary round will take place until September in six locations: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Thuan, Da Nang, Thai Nguyen, and Tien Giang.

The semi-final round will be held in November, and the final round will take place from December 1 to 15 in Phan Thiet city.

Contestants must be between 18 and 27 years old, have graduated from high school, and be at least 1.63 meters tall.

The winner of the contest will receive a crown and a cash prize of VND300 million, while the first and second runners-up will be awarded VND200 million and VND150 million, respectively.

Ly Kim Thao, the reigning Miss Tourism Vietnam Global 2021, will serve as an ambassador for the pageant.
