The group is the first to hold a Christmas concert in the capital, as stated by the organizers on October 23rd.

This is Highlight’s third performance in Vietnam, following their most recent concert My Soul Seoul in Ho Chi Minh City last year.

The Korean band debuted in 2009 under the original name of Beast, with six members. In late 2016, they moved from Cube Entertainment to Around US Entertainment and subsequently changed their name to Highlight in 2017.

The band now consists of four members – Yoon Doo Joon, Yang Yo Seob, Lee Gi Kwang, and Son Dong Woon. They mainly perform in Korea and Japan, with a discography that includes two albums in total, seven Korean mini albums, many singles, and one Japanese album. Their hit songs include Fiction, Not The End, Beautiful Night, and Plz Don’t Be Sad.

In 2011, the group released the album Fiction and Fact, in which the single Fiction enjoyed three consecutive wins on the music TV show M! Countdown of Mnet Radio. Additionally, this song won the Daesang award at the 2011 KBS Music Festival.

Highlight also won the Bonsang award at the Seoul Music Awards in both 2011 and 2012.

Aside from having a large fan community, the band also receives praise from critics.
