The five-day fair features an incredible selection of new breeds of turtles and frogs, along with a wide variety of bonsai species.

The Binh Phu Park was bustling on Wednesday morning as visitors savored the opening ceremony and had the chance to discover one-of-a-kind seedlings.

Ngo Dang Thu, 66, visited the fair where he purchased two heavy bags filled with calamansi seedlings and several varieties of young bonsai.

He was also hoping to find some variegated pink lemon seedlings at the fair.

“I bought new seedlings that are hard to find at bonsai stores in Ho Chi Minh City. The ones I bought were grown in An Giang Province in the Mekong Delta region,” Thu said.
