As part of cultural activities on the occasion of International Francophone Day, the 12th Francophone Film Festival will present six films from nine countries: Switzerland, Canada, France, Vietnam and Belgium-Wallonie-Bruxelles.
The films include “Emma Peeters”, “Legend of Quan Tien” and “Borders” at the National Documentary and Scientific Film Studio (NDSFS) at 465 Hoang Hoa Tham Street, Hanoi, from March 24-26; “Fahim”, “Young Juliette” and “Tambour Battant” at the French Cultural Institute in Hanoi – L’Espace at 24 Trang Tien Street, Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi from March 26-27.
The films help the audience to discover fascinating stories in the countries of the Francophonie and to experience the Francophone community’s cultural diversity.
All films will be shown in French with Vietnamese subtitles. Free tickets are now available from L’Espace at 24 Trang Tien Street, Hanoi or a representative of the participants.
The event is co-organised by embassies of Switzerland, Canada, France, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam, the Asia-Pacific Regional Office of the Francophone International Organisation and Belgium’s Wallonie-Bruxelles in Vietnam.
