Disney 101: The Ultimate Showdown, presented by Impact Theatre Saigon (ITS), promises to be an unforgettable experience for die-hard fans who have followed Disney’s 101-year journey. This performance is also a crash course for those who want to understand the magic behind the name.

This vibrant musical extravaganza features a dynamic fusion of a live band and over 20 talented musical artists from Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and Singapore.

Throughout the two-hour show, the audience will be treated to an electrifying theatrical battle between Team Disney Classic and Team Disney Channel – High School Musical faces off against The Little Mermaid, Hannah Montana clashes with Mulan, and The Lion King meets Phineas & Ferb.

Theatre-goers are invited to sing, dance, and laugh along with their favorite Disney characters. They can even cosplay as their beloved Disney characters for a chance to win fabulous prizes from ITS.

The “showdown” made its successful debut in HCM City in January, delighting thousands of theatre-goers.

Conductor Tran Nhat Minh, co-founder of the Saigon Pops Orchestra, commented on the performance, stating, “ITS consistently delivers high-quality musical programs.”

Meritorious Artist Thanh Loc also praised ITS for their creativity and ability to captivate fans with their talent.

After receiving such positive feedback in HCM City, ITS has decided to bring the performance to an even larger audience in Vietnam. The same team of artists, along with the vibrant staging, choreography, costumes, and visuals from the HCM City shows, will be featured in Hanoi.

Approximately 1,600 fans in the capital city will have the opportunity to experience Disney 101 during two concerts on March 8 and 9.

Since its establishment in May 2023, ITS, an educational and performance-oriented theatre platform for Vietnamese thespians, has successfully implemented and collaborated on over 23 projects in performance, education, and community engagement. These efforts have introduced musicals to more than 10,000 theatre-goers in HCM City, Hanoi, Da Nang, and other locations.
