Visitors to the zoo get the chance to participate in a tug of war with a white Bengal tiger on the first and fourth day of the Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday.

On the first day of the Lunar New Year festival, hundreds of visitors gathered around the white tiger to experience taking on this majestic animal.

One of the participants, Mr. Tran Van Ti, a 41-year-old resident of Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City, described the tiger as sturdy and smart. Despite his team’s loss, he shared a sense of happiness from the experience.

The tiger tug of war activity was introduced around a year ago and has attracted a lot of attention since then.

Born in 2015 at the zoo, the white Bengal tiger is an endangered animal.

In addition to the tug of war, visitors can also take part in other activities such as fishing with crocodiles, feeding hippos and bears.
