On September 6, The World Travel Awards (WTA) 2023 recognized numerous hotels as Vietnam’s leading accommodation facilities.
The first hotel to be mentioned is The Imperial Hotel in Vung Tau city, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province. It was honored as Vietnam’s Leading Beach Hotel due to its coastal location. The room price is VND 2.5 million (US$102.88), and this is the first time the hotel has received an award from WTA.
Park Hyatt Saigon, located in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, was honored as Vietnam’s leading hotel and received this award for the first time. The room price is VND 6.9 million (US$283.95).

InterContinental Residences Saigon (HCMC) won the Top Apartment Hotel (for long-term residents) award. This is the 7th consecutive year that the accommodation facility has been honored in this category. Room prices range from more than VND 5.6 million (US$230.45).
The Reverie Saigon, located in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, received the Top Luxury Hotel award for the first time. This property was honored in the categories of Top Downtown Hotel and Top Luxury Room Hotel. Room prices start from more than VND 6 million (US$246.91).

Room prices start from more than VND 4.1 million (US$168.72). A boutique resort/hotel typically refers to accommodations with a small number of uniquely designed rooms.

SOJO Hotel Ga Hanoi in Hoan Kiem District received the Top Style Hotel award. This is the first year SOJO has appeared on the WTA awards list.
Hotel de la Coupole – MGallery in Sa Pa, Lao Cai province, won the double award for “Hotel with the Leading Impressive Design in Vietnam and Asia”. Hotel de la Coupole has been awarded multiple times by WTA in categories such as luxury and iconic hotels.
Novotel Danang Premier Han River, representing Da Nang with its panoramic views of the Han River, won the Top River Hotel award. In 2020, Novotel won the Vietnam’s Leading Business Hotel award.

Since its establishment in 1993, the World Travel Awards (WTA) has been held annually to recognize the best service providers in the travel and tourism industry. Referred to as the “Oscar of the world tourism industry” by the Wall Street Journal, the awards are determined through rigorous voting by tourists and expert juries from hundreds of countries around the world.
