Moreover, Nam remains an unwavering companion to the newly hatched baby turtles until they gain the strength to venture back into their natural surroundings.
According to Nam, the breeding season for sea turtles occurs annually from June to August in the lunar calendar. During this time, Hai Giang island in Quy Nhon becomes the preferred location for mother turtles to lay their eggs on its sandy beaches.
