This activity is part of the celebration of the 10th anniversary of Trang An being recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage Site. It aims to showcase the outstanding global values of landscape, geology, geomorphology, and culture of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex.
During the program, delegates had the opportunity to visit and experience an exhibition space that portrays the cultural life of prehistoric residents. They were able to witness how the natural environment provided favorable conditions for people to live and engage in cultural activities. Despite landscape transformations, prehistoric people successfully adapted, developed, and preserved their remarkable global cultural values. Human activities have shaped the landscape and environment surrounding Trang An, and in turn, the environment has influenced various aspects of human life, including production, habitation, and cultural creation.
Over millions of years, Trang An has undergone numerous transformations due to the sea. These changes in terrain, geology, and geomorphology have contributed to the creation of a natural architectural masterpiece and breathtaking landscapes.
Nguyen Cao Tan, Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism of Ninh Binh Province, highlighted that the restoration of the ancient residents of Trang An aims to offer tourists a glimpse into the lives of past generations. It also seeks to help future generations understand and appreciate valuable historical lessons, foster an ethos of harmonious coexistence with nature, and enable adaptation to changes.
The Department of Tourism anticipates that once Khe Coc Island is completed and operational, it will become an enchanting tourist destination that embodies the cultural legacy of this ancient land.
