Zannier Hotels Bai San Ho is home to 71 villas covering around 98 hectares (242 acres). Facing a long white sand beach, the hotel is said to have drawn inspiration from local ethnic minority groups and nearby fishing villages in constructing three different types of Vietnamese-influenced villas.

Bishop’s Lodge in New Mexico was named the winner of the ‘Best New hotel’ category while Soneva Jani in Maldives won the ‘Best Sustainable Luxury Hotel’ category, as Vn Express reported.

Signiel Seoul in South Korea won the ‘Best Gourmet Getaway’ category.

Last year, Zannier Hotels Bai San Ho topped the most romantic hotel category at the National Geographic’s annual Hotel Awards.

“If you’re looking for a romantic escape, this place is hard to beat,” the British travel magazine said.

“Villas borrow the Vietnamese vernacular: all thatched roofs and woven bamboo walls, crowned by muslin-draped beds and come-hither bathtubs. Most decadent of all is the Yin and Yang treatment at the spa, with a ginger-and-brandy bath for two and a herbal, energy-balancing massage,” it said.

Room prices range from around VND9.5 million ($416.73) a night.

Every year, Kiwi Collection’s team of luxury hotel experts select the year’s best properties for wellness, romance, beach, adventure, family travel and more.

Zannier Hotels Bai San Ho set amidst a remote 98-hectare natural site facing a long white sand beach. In Vietnamese, the name translates to “bay of corals,” and it’s a fitting name for a hotel nestled by a coastline with coral reefs and surrounded by hills and rice paddies.

Guests are treated to their own private villas and can choose from three different traditional architectural styles. All accommodations feature king-size beds, baths and showers, free Wi-Fi, televisions, safes, minibars, and air conditioning. Many of the villas feature a private pool as well.

Though the hotel is off the beaten path, there is no shortage of entertainment and adventure. As Kiwi Collection reported, you can dine and sip at the three restaurants and three bars, relax at the beautiful spa, take a yoga or tennis class, work out at the 24-hour fitness room, and discover beach and water sports. Whatever you choose, you won’t be disappointed.
