Hanoi streets adorned with banners and billboards to welcome SEA Games 31

NDO – Many panels, banners and billboards have been set up along major streets in the capital city of Hanoi to welcome the 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 31).

The streets around Hoan Kiem Lake have been decorated with colourful banners and billboards on SEA Games 31.

Information on SEA Games 31 is also posted in English language on LED screens at trade centres to help foreigners get updated on the Games.

The city is also installing clusters of 2-sided, 3-sided and 4-sided billboards at roundabouts in the downtown area.

The traffic police force is standing ready to ensure traffic safety during SEA Games 31.

Electric cars for tourists have also been embellished with the logo, banner and mascot of SEA Games 31 in order to draw visitors’ interest and attention.

A large poster promoting the 31st SEA Games has been installed in front of the headquarters the Hanoi Municipal People’s Committee.

Set to take place from May 12-23, the 31st SEA Games is the largest sporting event in Southeast Asia. It provides a great opportunity to promote the image, land, people and tourism of Vietnam, and of the capital Hanoi in particular, to international friends.
