The Sa Dec ornamental flower festival, which runs until January 5, offers a variety of captivating art performances and activities for attendees to enjoy.
During the opening ceremony, Le Quoc Phong, secretary of the provincial Party Committee, emphasized that the festival aims to showcase the significant potential for flower cultivation in the province and highlight the beauty of Sa Dec’s ornamental flowers to both local and international visitors.
From a small village, Sa Dec has transformed into a prominent flower city, encompassing approximately 1,000 hectares.

With more than 2,000 flower varieties, the city supplies over 12 million flowery products to the local market annually.
The Sa Dec ornamental flower festival is expected to attract residents and visitors who will have the opportunity to appreciate the art of flower cultivation through various exhibitions and floral display spaces. This event also contributes to the economic value enhancement of ornamental flowers in the region.
Tran Thanh Man, permanent vice-chairman of Vietnam’s lawmaking National Assembly, expressed his hope that flower growers in the city will embrace modern science and technology solutions to improve yields and protect the environment.
Man emphasized the importance of an eco-friendly approach, emphasizing the need for the flower city to prioritize environmental sustainability.
Preparations in progress at Tay Tuu flower village for Tet
Recognized as the prime flower cultivation hub in the capital city, Tay Tuu village in Bac Tu Liem district of Hanoi is currently bustling with activities as locals prepare to nurture and gather flowers for the upcoming Lunar New Year, commonly referred to as Tet. This festive period signifies the beginning of the most significant harvest of the year, prompting the village to act swiftly in order to meet the demands of the local markets.
Binh Duong’s Flower Village Blooms in Anticipation of New Year
The Tan Ba flower garden, located in the southern province of Binh Duong, is currently in full bloom as farmers meticulously tend to the plants by trimming leaves and providing regular watering. Their efforts are aimed at ensuring that the flowers blossom in perfect timing for the upcoming Lunar New Year festival, also known as Tet.
