She arrived with six separate pieces of baggage, one of which contained an outfit for the national costume segment.

The 25-year-old beauty stands at 1.75 meters tall and has body measurements of 83-60-94 cm. She triumphed over 17 other contestants to be crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 during the final night of the competition on September 29, fulfilling the requirements to compete in the Miss Universe 2023 pageant.

Hoa has gained experience from various beauty pageants, including winning the titles of Miss Ao Dai Vietnam World 2017, Supermodel Vietnam 2018, and Supermodel International 2022.

The model has previously worked as a coach at the Miss International Queen Vietnam transgender pageant and at Miss Earth Vietnam. She has also served as a member of the judging panel during the Super Model International Philippines contest.

Miss Universe was first held in 1952 and is one of the Big Four international beauty pageants alongside Miss World, Miss International, and Miss Earth.

This year marks the 72nd edition of the pageant. It will take place in El Salvador from November 3 to 18 and will feature the participation of 80 contestants from around the world.

The current reigning Miss Universe is R’Bonney Gabriel of the United States, who was crowned on January 14 in New Orleans, USA.

Vietnamese beauties have achieved numerous impressive accomplishments at Miss Universe over the years. Nguyen Thuy Lam finished among the Top 15 in 2008, H’Hen Nie made it to the Top 5 in 2018, Hoang Thuy reached the Top 20 in 2019, Khanh Van finished in the Top 21 in 2020, and Kim Duyen secured a Top 16 placement in 2021.
