The newly crowned champion, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Chau, has successfully surpassed last year’s winner and is now poised to represent her country in the forthcoming Miss Universe International 2023 pageant. This prestigious event is scheduled to take place in El Salvador on November 18.

During Friday’s finale, the 18 contestants showcased their talents in five rounds: introductions, national costumes, swimsuits, evening gowns, and the Q&A portion.

After the initial four rounds, the panel of judges meticulously handpicked the top five contestants, together with Trinh Thi Hong Dang, the distinguished recipient of the prestigious Most Popular Beauty award. These individuals were invited to partake in the engrossing Q&A segment, where they gracefully expressed their thoughts and insights while addressing a series of questions.

During the competition, there was an incident where a judge unintentionally asked a question meant for another contestant to the Hanoi beauty, Hoa. Additionally, several viewers observed that her response resembled a search result from Google.

The event received criticism for its lack of organization, subpar music performances, and the host’s incompetence.
