The Center for Culture, Information, and Sports of Vung Tau City is making a proposal to the Vietnam Records Organization (VietKings) in order to recognize DELTA as the largest kite in the country. This remarkable kite was created and constructed by the local people in Vung Tau and has since become a source of pride for the community.

DELTA measures an impressive 10 meters in width and 9 meters in length, making it the largest kite of its kind in Vietnam. Moreover, this kite is made entirely from bamboo and other natural materials found in Vung Tau, making it an environmentally friendly and sustainable choice. Additionally, the kite was carefully handcrafted and decorated with intricate patterns, adding to its uniqueness and making it a true work of art.

By officially recognizing DELTA as the largest kite in Vietnam, the Vietnam Records Organization will be able to provide a platform for local artisans and craftsmen in Vung Tau to showcase their work. Moreover, this recognition would be a great source of pride and honor for the people of Vung Tau, further cementing their strong connection to their cultural heritage.

For all these reasons, the Center for Culture, Information, and Sports of Vung Tau City is confident that DELTA should be recognized as the largest kite in the country, and we look forward to a positive response from the Vietnam Records Organization.

The Kite Flying Festival is due to take place in Bai Sau, Vung Tau City, to celebrate Hung Kings Commemoration Day (on the 10th day of the third lunar month), National Reunification Day (April 30) and International Labour Day (May 1).
