Polish beauty queen, Bielawska, arrived in Ho Chi Minh City at Tan Son Nhat International Airport on July 20, before traveling to Quy Nhon city in Binh Dinh province. Quy Nhon is currently hosting the final round of Miss World Vietnam 2023, as confirmed by the organizers.
This is Bielawska’s third visit to Vietnam. She initially came to Vietnam in July 2022 to attend the final night of Miss World Vietnam 2022. Later on, in September of the same year, Bielawska returned to Ho Chi Minh City to participate in a fundraising auction for Beauty with Purpose, an organization founded by Julia Morley, chairman and CEO of Miss World Foundation.
Bielawska also took part in a charity project initiated by Huynh Nguyen Mai Phuong, Miss World Vietnam 2022.
At the age of 24, Bielawska was crowned Miss World 2021, becoming the second titleholder from Poland. She also won Miss Grand Slam 2021, an esteemed poll hosted by the renowned website Global Beauties to choose the ultimate beauty queen.
Miss World Vietnam 2023 is currently being held at MerryLand Quy Nhon in Binh Dinh province. The final round involves various activities, including the Sports Beauty Contest, Vietnam Beauty Fashion Fest, Beach Beauty, and numerous charity initiatives organized for the top 40 finalists.
The Miss World Vietnam contest was initially introduced in 2019 to select the Vietnamese representative for the Miss World beauty pageant. Eligibility criteria include women aged 18 to 27, standing at least 1.65 meters tall, and having no history of cosmetic surgery. Participants must be unmarried and have never given birth.
The previous edition, Miss World Vietnam 2022, also took place in Quy Nhon, Binh Dinh province. The winner was Huynh Nguyen Mai Phuong, a student from Dong Nai province, surpassing 36 other contestants in the grand finale. The first runner-up was Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc, 21, from Can Tho, who was also crowned Miss Intercontinental 2022. The second runner-up was Nguyen Phuong Nhi, a 20-year-old native of Thanh Hoa.
