During her acceptance speech at the gala ceremony in Berlin on Wednesday, Bui Thi Ngoc Hieu, deputy director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, emphasized the city’s aspirations to thrive as a premier Asian tourism destination and establish itself as an open, vibrant, and desirable city to reside in by 2030.

This accolade not only signifies progress towards these objectives but also reflects worldwide confidence in the city’s tourism potential.

The department is committed to enhancing the city’s MICE infrastructure and services, thereby reinforcing its position on the regional and global tourism map, as stated by Hieu.
