The festival is set to feature five outstanding movies, namely ‘Rio 2096: A Story of Love and Fury’, ‘Trinta’, ‘Jules and Dolores’, ‘Buddies’, and ‘Nise – The Heart of Madness’.
Through this event, the Embassy of Brazil in Vietnam is keen to introduce some of the unique aspects and characteristics of Brazilian culture to enthusiastic local audiences.
According to the embassy, all of the movies will be shown in their original language, whilst featuring both English and Vietnamese subtitles.Â
A Brazilian Film Week was earlier held in Hanoi in May, drawing plenty of attention from local people.
Brazilian films to be screened in Ho Chi Minh City
Ho Chi Minh City is set to host a Brazilian film week run by the Embassy of Brazil in Vietnam from November 7 to November 11.
