According to the Consulate General of France in HCM City, the event was a unique opportunity to showcase the bakers’ creativity and passion for baking, while celebrating the friendship and fostering the close ties between the two countries.
The contest was open to everyone: professional bakers, students pursuing the profession of bread making, and amateurs. Contestants were scored based on the idea, presentation, and taste of the bread they made.
Chef Guillaume Gomez, personal representative of the President of the French Republic for gastronomy, presided over the jury with great distinction. His renowned expertise in the culinary arts made him the perfect choice to lead the jury and ensure a successful outcome.
The three winners of the contest will receive exclusive training in Singapore at Lesaffre’s state-of-the-art bakery center. This unparalleled opportunity will allow the winners to explore new techniques and refine their baking skills.
