This is the first time Da Lat organizes the biennial festival with the aim of honoring filmmakers and artists in the entertainment industry.

The festival accepts entries in the form of feature films, documentaries, science films, and cartoons.

Entries must be in Vietnamese and produced by local film production companies or in collaboration with foreign organizations or individuals without copyright disputes. The festival is open for applications until October 30.

A variety of activities will be held during the event, including film screenings in major cities such as Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City.

In addition, there will be outdoor film screenings to provide a unique experience for participants. Seminars on the film industry and interactions between artists and audiences will also take place.

The festival is held every two years to honor outstanding films and artists for their contributions to the local cinema industry.

The festival is jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the administration of Da Lat City.
