The programme is divided into three parts. It begins with lively pop-soul and dream-pop songs performed by Vietnamese artist, singer, and composer Nguyen Ngoc Anh (Another Nguyen). The following two performances feature Vietnamese artist, singer, rapper, and composer NASHI44, as well as the band SAIGON SOUL REVIVAL from Ho Chi Minh City.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Germany Vu Quang Minh, in his remarks at the show, expressed that this music event is remarkable as it marks the first collaboration of Vietnamese and Vietnamese-origin artists in a programme organized by the Berlin administration at the Dong Xuan Centre. The Dong Xuan Centre is home to the largest population of Vietnamese residents and workers in the German capital.

The ambassador emphasized that the performances by talented young Vietnamese-origin artists in Germany, alongside the band from Vietnam, reflect the strong friendship and connection between the Vietnamese and German people. Music serves to strengthen and promote the love and friendship between the two nations, and this event celebrates the cultural and artistic heritage of Vietnam.

Kultursommerfestival 2023 features 100 outdoor free-of-charge events held at various locations in Berlin from June to September.

The Dong Xuan Centre has transformed from a shopping destination to a hub for culinary and cultural experiences. It has also become a popular tourist spot for foreigners interested in Vietnamese culture, as well as Vietnamese people visiting Berlin for the first time.
