On the morning of October 6, local artists will unite to celebrate Capital Liberation Day with a spectacular music gala. The event will feature a grand reenactment of the Vietnamese People’s Army’s historic march into the capital on October 10, 1954, involving an impressive 500 artists.
The pinnacle of the celebrations will be a massive parade with approximately 9,000 participants, showcasing Hanoi’s UNESCO-recognized natural and cultural wonders. The parade will be a vibrant display of the capital’s folk arts, including the mesmerizing Xẩm singing and the enchanting ca trù ceremonial singing.
Additionally, the event will exhibit the finest craft village products, such as the exquisite Hang Trong folk paintings, the luxurious Van Phuc silk, and the renowned Bat Trang ceramics. The elegance of Ao Dai, the traditional long dress, will also be highlighted as women don this graceful garment during the parade. Last but not least, the flower villages of the capital will present their beautiful products, adding a touch of natural splendor to the occasion.
