According to the ministry’s report, the three Vietnamese male patients aged between 24- 57 returned from RoK and France in November and were sent to quarantine areas upon arrival in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province and Danang City.

They are now being treated at local hospitals.

One other patient is a 37-year-old Indian man who arrived from India at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City on November 21.

He was sent to a local quarantine area upon arrival and tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 on November 24.

The last patient is a 23-year-old South Korean man who arrived from RoK at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City on November 21.

He was sent to a local quarantine area upon arrival and tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 on November 24.

The two patients are now being treated at the Cu Chi Field Hospital for Covid-19 patients.

With these new infection cases, the number of imported Covid-19 patients in Vietnam has increased to 630.

As of 6 pm on November 25, a total of 1,153 Covid-19 patients had recovered and been discharged from hospital. There have been 35 deaths, most of them being the elderly with serious underlying diseases.

The country has gone 83 days without reporting any new case in the community.

At present, over 15,000 people who had close contact with Covid-19 patients or returned from virus-hit areas are being monitored at hospitals, quarantine facilities, and at home.
