Quang Tri’s Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism is seeking to uncover the hidden gem of Van Tien Cave, as per Ho Van Hoan, the deputy director. The proposal, submitted to the provincial People’s Committee, aims to explore this natural wonder located in Tria Village, Huong Son Commune, Huong Hoa District.

Local media has already shone a spotlight on this captivating cave, and now the department wants to ensure its preservation and potential for tourism. Discovered in 2020, Van Tien Cave rests within the Bac Huong Hoa Nature Reserve and has since sparked curiosity.

A preliminary survey was conducted in collaboration with the district administration and relevant units, and now, the department proposes a more in-depth exploration, marking locations, and identifying entrances. This proposal also hints at engaging foreign experts or speleologists to aid in the survey process.

What makes Van Tien Cave so enchanting are the stunning stalactites of all shapes and sizes that adorn its interior. And, as if that weren’t enough, an underground river system, complete with fish and shrimp-filled lakes, awaits discovery at the cave’s bottom.
