Vietnam’s Weather Forecast (May 7): Rainy Day Continues in the Northern Region

The forecast center predicts the Northern and North Central regions will experience showers and thunderstorms, with rainfall between 20-40mm in some areas and over 80mm in others.

The Central, Central Highlands, and Southern regions will experience scattered showers and thunderstorms, with rainfall ranging from 15-30mm, in some areas exceeding 70mm on the night of May 6.

The forecast center warns that from the night of May 6 to May 9, the Northern and North Central regions will experience showers and thunderstorms, with heavy rain in some localities.

During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong winds. Localized heavy rain can cause flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on slopes, and flooding in low-lying areas.

Thunderstorms may bring tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong winds. The lowest temperature will range from 22-25 degrees, while the highest temperature will range from 29-32 degrees.

Thanh Hoa – Thua Thien Hue: The weather will be cloudy and rainy, with showers and scattered thunderstorms in the evening and night. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong winds. The lowest temperature will range from 23-26 degrees, while the highest temperature will range from 28-31 degrees in the North and 31-34 degrees in the South.

Da Nang – Binh Thuan: The weather will be cloudy and sunny during the day, with showers and thunderstorms in the evening and night. East to southeast wind level 2-3. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong winds. The lowest temperature will range from 24-27 degrees, while the highest temperature will range from 32-35 degrees.
