According to Mai, this year, the committee will establish a gathering place for OV and Ho Chi Minh cultural space at the committee’s headquarters.
The project aims to serve as a venue for the overseas Vietnamese community to express their trust in the city’s leadership, provide their opinions and suggestions on the constitution, and seek support and answers to their questions, as well as obtain information about investment projects in the southern metropolis.
During the Lunar New Year 2024, the Committee for Overseas Vietnamese organized four delegations to visit and extend New Year wishes to businessmen, intellectuals, OV artists, and families.
Last week, more than 1,000 delegates representing over 6 million Vietnamese residing in different continents attended the “Xuan Que Huong” (Homeland Spring) program in HCM City.
