The club will help travel businesses effectively operate on criteria of environmental protection and preservation of cultural values, which in turn improve their business performance.
Addressing at the launching last weekend in Hanoi, Mr. Phung Quang Thang, the Chairman of the Hanoi Travel Association, said that in order to achieve these goals, the VGreen will host activities to improve the quality of tourism human resources and build specialty tours. The highlight will be the “Hanoian people travel in Hanoi” program, he said.
The latest report from the Hanoi Travel Association shows that 160 members of the association have strengthened the linkages with enterprises in the provinces and cities nationwide in building new tours.
Although Covid-19 has inflicted serious damage on the tourism industry, the pandemic also helped travel businesses realize about the weakness of tourism workforce which has been unable to meet the innovative requirements in the process of the international economic integration.
Therefore, in 2020, the Hanoi Travel Association held many training programs to improve the quality of human resources and accelerate the application of digital technology for the travel businesses.
Addressing the event, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Travel Association Vu The Binh said that in 2021, travel agencies should further strengthen their positions; building new products to adapt to the market; reform the operation model by applying science and technology in management, administration, marketing and advertising.
