The tournament will consist of two rounds, with the qualifying round scheduled to take place from July 8th to August 6th, followed by the final round on August 19th and 20th.

The tournament offers a total prize pool of VND600 million ($25,329), with VND120 million ($5,066) awarded to the eventual winner.

Our tournament utilizes cutting-edge 3D golf simulation technology, creating an immersive and realistic golfing experience for participants. This innovative approach allows us to host the tournament in various locations across the country over a month-long period.

Participants have the opportunity to compete on their own schedule and in their own chosen location, while still experiencing the same competition conditions as everyone else.

The event organizer has high expectations that the upcoming event will greatly contribute to the growth and development of Vietnam’s golf industry. With a focus on embracing advancements in golfing technology, the event aims to provide increased training and competition opportunities for golfers within the local community.

The organizer had previously hosted a smaller-scale amateur tournament in December of last year.

According to Nguyen Thai Duong, who is the deputy secretary of the Vietnam Golf Association, the professional competition necessitates a more intricate organizational framework and is predicted to draw in a larger number of golfers.

“I believe that the use of simulation technology in playing golf will greatly contribute to the popularity of the sport in Vietnam,” stated Duong. He further emphasized that 3D golf enables players to enjoy the game while also offering cost savings and eliminating the potential impact of weather conditions.

The Vietnam Golf Association is implementing measures to ensure fairness during the tournament. These measures include equipping 3D golf courts with cameras and mobilizing top golf referees in the country.
