The Vietnamese Women’s Forum in Europe handed over Mid-Autumn gifts to 50 orphans in Thanh Chuong district of Nghe An province.
In June 2023, the Vietnamese Women’s Forum in Europe initiated an adoption program by the Vietnam Women’s Union, resulting in the adoption of over 50 orphans.

On the occasion of the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival, the Forum donated 50 gift packages (each worth VND 500,000 (USD 20) including mooncakes and cash) to orphaned children in difficult circumstances.
Representatives of the authorities, Fatherland Front, and Women’s Union of Thanh Chuong district, on behalf of the forum’s members, presented gifts to the children.
Nguyen Doan Hai An, receiving gifts on behalf of the children, expressed gratitude to the Vietnamese aunts and uncles in Europe for their love and care.
Dinh Thi Han, chairwoman of Thanh Chuong District Women’s Association, also expressed gratitude to the forum members for their support.

Phan Bich Thien, head of the Forum’s Executive Board, expressed gratitude to forum members in European countries for their support in providing gifts and donations to children in difficult circumstances.
The Mid-Autumn Festival gift-giving program for orphans will become an annual activity of the Vietnamese Women’s Forum in Europe, bringing joy to orphans during this special occasion.

The Mid-Autumn Festival is celebrated on September 29 this year, with various activities held for children, including fruit tray decoration, lantern parades, lion dances, and gift-giving.
