Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung said that despite many difficulties, the host country Cambodia made efforts to successfully organize the 32nd SEA Games in many aspects.
Minister Nguyen Van Hung was impressed by Cambodia’s investment and upgrading of a series of sports institutions serving the 32nd SEA Games.
Cambodia also shows its generosity when waiving all accommodation costs for athletes participating in the event.

Vietnam supported Cambodia in training high-quality human resources. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has supported training funds for 34 Cambodian athletes (vovinam and athletics) in Ho Chi Minh City to prepare for the 32nd SEA Games.
Cambodian Minister of Education, Youth and Sports Hang Chuon Naron thanked Vietnam for its support to help Cambodia develop sports. Recently, Vietnam shared with Cambodia about the experience of organizing the SEA Games. Thanks to those valuable experiences, Cambodia has been doing well in organizing the event.
With the 32nd SEA Games, Minister Hang Chuon Naron said that the event is not only an opportunity for athletes to show their bravery and compete, but also for Southeast Asian countries to show solidarity for peace, for a future together in accordance with the spirit of SEA Games 32 “Sports, live in peace”.

The two ministers agreed to sign a sports cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Cambodia.
