Vietnam Learns from International Experience in Capital City Development

A seminar organized by the Vietnam Peace and Development Foundation focused on topics related to the development of the capital city, including decentralization, monitoring of state power, development of culture, education, science-technology, and high-quality human resources, resource attraction, and the positioning of the capital city in the national development strategy. The aim of the seminar was to gather opinions to amend the law and contribute to building a globally connected and modern Hanoi by 2045.

Vietnam Learns from International Experience in Capital City Development

Hanoi’s transformation into a globally connected city and a regional economic hub by 2045 is part of the Resolution No 15, which guides the development of the Hanoi Capital Region until 2030. The resolution aims to increase the city’s GRDP growth and per capita income, positioning Hanoi as a key economic region of the northern region and the country.
