The library attracts more than 4,000 readers, including pupils, retired officers and people in Rua isle.
The library also lends more than 700 books to the Thanh Hoi Primary School Library and the Cultural Houses in the region.
The book keeps the names of those who come to take books directly or send them in the mail.
With the increasing size of books, on November 12, Binh Duong Provincial Library in collaboration with Tan Uyen Town People’s Committee held a ceremony to recognise and launch the Rua Isle Private Library.
According to the Director of the Binh Duong Provincial Library, Nguyen Van Hue, this is the second private library in the province. Among more than 10,000 the book at Rua Isle Library, many valuable books are available for research on the culture of the southern region.
The Rua Isle Private Library operates in the spirit of not-for-profit, serving the community; contributing to building a reading culture; spreading knowledge, love for books, and spread lifelong learning.
The Private Library signed a memorandum of understanding to improve reading culture with the Youth Union of Thanh Hoi Commune and Thanh Hoi Primary School, Tan Uyen Town, Binh Duong Province.
Journalist Ton Hoan, Chairman of Dong Nai Journalist Association, Editor-in-Chief of Dong Nai Newspaper congratulated the Rua Isle Private Library.
