Buying a piece of gold on the God of Wealth Day, the 10th day of the lunar year, is believed to bring good fortune to their business and family throughout the year.

Many people flock to jewelry shops ahead of the God of Wealth Day.

Customers queue to purchase gold at a shop on Tran Nhan Tong street.

Sellers enthusiastically take care of buyers by offering fruits, drinks, and gifts.

In addition to traditional products such as figurines of the God of Wealth inscribed with words like Phúc (Happiness), Lộc (Prosperity) Tài (Wealth), and Thọ (Longevity), gold companies have also made a variety of dragon-themed items to celebrate the lunar year of the dragon this year.

Jewelry shops are scheduled to open their doors at 6 a.m. on February 19.

They also launch a variety of charm bracelets made of 24k and 18k gold with animal-shaped figurines, gold bars, and others featuring youthful designs at different prices.

The shops also plan to close their doors at 11 p.m. on the same day to meet consumer demand.
