The “Grand Prize” was awarded to musician Hong Dang for his outstanding compositions about Hanoi. His notable songs, “Hoa Sua” (Milkwood Pine Flower) and “Ky Niem Thanh Pho Tuoi Tho” (Memories of Childhood City), beautifully capture the spirit and essence of the capital.

Among the other awards presented at the ceremony were “The Work Prize”, “The Job Prize”, and “The Idea Prize”.

Renowned German photographer Thomas Billhardt claimed “The Work Prize” for his captivating photo book and exhibition, titled Hanoi 1967-1975. The exhibition, held last October, showcased over 130 black-and-white and color photographs that provide an honest portrayal of the city during that period.
