During a press conference held on July 19th, Le Van Thai, the Deputy Director of Binh Duong Province’s Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, announced that the upcoming event will provide participants with updates on modern educational trends and entertainment technology.

The event, which is a collaboration between the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) and the World Trade Center Binh Duong New City (WTC Binh Duong New City), aims to showcase the strategic relationship between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK) and promote the creative service industry in Binh Duong province.

Over 120 booths from 60 Korean businesses, as well as businesses from Vietnam and other countries, will exhibit products in the fields of education and entertainment. Additionally, the Vietnam – Korea Copyright and Iconic Characters Festival 2023 will be held as part of the event, featuring a design contest for iconic characters. This festival serves as a platform for young Vietnamese individuals to showcase their creativity and helps Korean and Vietnamese businesses understand the utilization of symbolic characters.

The winners of the contest will have the opportunity to participate in further trade promotion activities, according to Thai.

In addition, the Learn & Play Festival 2023 is expected to attract around 10,000 children who will engage in various activities and receive attractive gifts, allowing them to explore the world around them.

The event will launch a range of activities, including a business connection program, a Kpop contest, an iconic character parade, and cosplay shows.
